Steel & General Cargo

In addition to the three core trades of fresh produce, forest products and cars, Sheerness also handles a significant amount of general cargo, including steel, cement and aggregates.

The port's own plant and equipment can lift up to 80 tonnes capacity and receive regular palletised, bagged and project cargoes.

Aggregates and sand can be handled by Sheerness Aggregates Ltd at their purpose built facility.

Sheerness also has regular RoRo services to and from both West and East Africa.
