We may also collect information about you from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organisations.

In our role as conservators and port authority for the River Medway we may collect and use Personal Data to enable us to issue licences to leisure craft owners/operators.

If we wish to use your Personal Data for a new purpose, we offer you the means to consent to this new purpose. We will only use your Personal Data for purposes other than those listed in this Privacy Policy after gaining your express permission.

We do not knowingly target children. However, we are aware that we occasionally receive requests for information from children (perhaps for help with school projects, for example). Because such incidents are infrequent, we do not provide information about our Personal Data practices in relation to children on our home page, or at those sites on our website where we collect Personal Data.

We allow you to challenge the Personal Data that we hold about you and, where appropriate, you may have the data erased, rectified or amended, or completed.

We do not reserve the right to refuse to provide you with a copy of your Personal Data.

This Privacy Policy is compliant with the United Kingdom's Data Protection Act (1998), The European Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development's guidelines for Privacy Policies.
